Once the Point of sale has been chosen, you can edit its information through 5 submenus - Information, Opening hours, Images, Services, Extra fields.

When you edit and save the data, it is transmitted in real time to the different media. However, it may happen that the changes are only live after a few hours.

Let's focus on the Information menu

Information menu

→ edit various basic informations

The "At this time this location is" section, located under the Website and Email fields, is the general status of the point of sale, namely if it is an active business, soon to be open, temporarily closed or definitively closed. It is not to be confused with opening or closing times. This section will be displayed depending on your user rights.

Location Address tab

→ Provides detailed information on the business location (city, postal code, street, etc.) . It is possible to check the location of the point of sale directly via Google Maps and modify it if necessary.

Note: By entering the address in Search, all the information and map will update automatically. By entering information directly in the fields, the search field and map will not update.

Store location description tab

→ add a description to your Google My Business listing, your local Facebook page and / or your Store Locator.

To change the media go to the drop-down list.

About the non-editable grey fields

There are two scenarios:

  1. It is an external reference to our data, we do not have any hand in it in order to edit it.

  2. It's a question of settings. Rights differ from user to user and access to a specific field may be restricted.

Associate Tags to the Location

The field Tags* is visible and editable at the top of the Information menu page.

If you have a number of Locations to manage then Tags will make your search easier on the main screen.

*Tags must be previously created via Settings to then be associated with the point of sales within the Locations hub.

Update tags, categories and descriptions via the Bulk command

Exploiting Bulk is a second alternative for making changes to Information. Originally this command was designed to make it easier to edit several point of sales at once, but it is quite possible to use it for a single point of sale.

For more information, see the article Search & Bulk Edit with Bulk Command.
