6. Organization Verification
Apple requires organization verification before granting access to all features. Several verification methods may be available.
Method 1 – Business Identifier
Apple may request:
A D-U-N-S Number
Or another official company identifier.
Method 2 – Domain Verification
Apple may require adding a TXT record to the company domain's DNS settings.
This step usually requires assistance from your IT team or domain administrator.
Method 3 – Official Documentation
Apple may request official company documents such as:
Business license
Tax document
Company registration document
Proof of business existence.
Important Note : Verification may take several business days. It is recommended to start this process as early as possible to avoid delays.
7. Creating or Claiming Locations
Once the organization has been verified, locations can be managed.
Scenario 1 – The Location Already Exists on Apple Maps
Search for the location in Apple Business and request ownership.
Apple may require additional verification to confirm your authorization.
Scenario 2 – The Location Does Not Yet Exist
Create a new location and provide:
Location name
Full address
Phone number
Website
Primary category
Opening hours
Photos
Logo
Additional information, if available.
8. Best Practices for Locations
To maintain high-quality Apple Maps listings:
Ensure the business name is consistent with other platforms, especially Google Business Profile.
Use a complete and properly formatted address.
Verify that the phone number is active.
Keep opening hours up to date.
Choose relevant categories.
Upload representative photos.
Link to the correct local website page whenever possible.
Keep information consistent with the Mobilosoft platform.
9. User Access Management
Once the account is created, additional users can be added.
Recommended roles include:
Administrator
Manager
Limited Access User.
Best Practice: Avoid relying on a single user account to manage the entire platform in order to reduce the risk of losing access.
10. Important Checks
Before finalizing the process, verify that:
The Apple ID is linked to a professional email address.
The organization has been successfully verified.
Domain access or official documents are available if required.
Locations are assigned to the correct organization.

User permissions are properly configured.
The IT team is informed if DNS validation is needed.

After the account is created, regular monitoring is recommended to verify:
The visibility of locations on Apple Maps

Potential duplicate listings
Support requests that may need to be submitted to Apple.
Regular monitoring helps ensure a reliable and consistent local presence on Apple Maps.
