This guide explains how to select or capture videos that comply with the API limitations of Meta (Facebook/Instagram) and Google when creating a campaign in the MyMobilosoft mobile application. The goal is to ensure that your videos are compatible with advertising platforms and that your campaigns run smoothly. Mobile video advertising is a digital marketing strategy that involves creating and sharing video ads optimized for mobile devices.

I. Selecting a Compatible Video from Your Phone

Objective

Choose an existing video from your phone while ensuring its compatibility with Meta and Google requirements.

Steps

  1. Access the Campaign Tab:

    • Launch the MyMobilosoft mobile application and go to the Campaign tab.

  2. Choose Your Publication Media:

    • Select the "Video" option from the proposed media types.


  3. Prepare Your Text:

    • Write the text accompanying your publication.


  4. Filter Compatible Videos:

    • When you access your phone's video gallery, only videos that comply with the API requirements of Meta or Google will be available. The application automatically filters out incompatible videos.

5. Receive a Non-Compliance Alert:

  • If, despite the filter, the selected video exceeds the size or duration limitations, a message will appear to inform you and invite you to try again.

  • Example: "The selected video is too long or too large to be published on Meta/Google. Please try again."

II. Capturing a Video Directly from the Device

Record a new video directly from the application, automatically respecting the technical limitations of the platforms.

Steps

  1. Access the Campaign Tab:

    • Launch the MyMobilosoft mobile application and go to the Campaign tab.

  2. Choose Your Publication Media:

    • Select the "Video" option from the proposed media types.

  3. Prepare Your Text:

    • Write the text accompanying your publication.

  4. Filter on "Video" and Select the Camera Icon:

    • Click the "Camera" icon to activate direct video capture.

  5. Record a Video:

    • Take a video directly from the application. The capture will be automatically limited to the parameters compliant with the platform's APIs (Meta or Google). You don't have to worry about length or size limitations.

  6. Receive a Non-Compliance Alert:

    • If, for any reason, the video exceeds the size or duration limitations, a message will appear to inform you and invite you to try again.

    • Example: "The recorded video is too long or too large to be published on Meta/Google. Please try again."
